Homeschoolers of Bealeton (HOB)


  1. Sensory Play Group
    A club for children ages 3-6. Each month will have a theme and various sensory activities to explore that topic. Meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10:30am-11:30am.
  2. Book Club
    Monthly book club Hosted by Miss Maggie.  Each month the children will read an assigned book and meet on a Saturday to discuss. 
  3. LEGO Club
    Join other LEGO enthusiasts for a building challenge using our Legos. Each month the children will be given a new challenge to complete, sometimes as a team, sometimes individually...always FUN! Meets the 4th Wednesday of the month.
  4. Battle of the Books Club
    America's Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading incentive program for students in grades 3-12. The purpose is simply to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with peers. Meets the 2nd Thursday of the month from 2:30pm-3:30pm.
  5. Chess Club
    Who wants to play some Chess?  Come on over to the HOB HQ and play a game or two with your friends.  All skill levels welcomed!  What a great way to learn and bond.   Parents are welcomed to hop in and play as well! Meets 1st Wednesday of the month.
  6. Geocaching & Hiking Club
    Join Miss Amber and her children for a fun hike and/or geocaching adventure each month. A great way for all ages to get out, explore and get healthy together! Meets once a month and day could vary.
  7. S.T.E.M. Club
    STEM Club is a powerful and enjoyable way to engage young people with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects. They ignite an interest in STEM subjects and provide a platform to extend young people's learning. Day and Time: Still TBD.
More about HOB Clubs
 Clubs are for paid members of Homeschoolers of Bealeton.  They are usually free and are a wonderful way for the kids with similar interests to get together and socialize each month.  They are ever changing according to the interest levels of the kids and families.  Like the classes these are hosted by parents who have volunteered to open their home to these fun and educational social opportunities.
